Thousands abandoned after flooding in GB (Gilgit Baltistan)

Glacier Melted and Caused severe Flooding in GB (Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan)
Gilgit : Rapid melting of glacier caused flooding in GB yesterday. Flood water, landsliding blocked several vital roads and hundreds of people got abandoned. Many houses and other land came under water.
Two people died when a family hit by floodwater. (sources claim)

According to police forces from the Gnarforam stream hits total three people in a family, mother and her son and daughter. This incident happened Goharabad Valley of  Daimer district.

Sources claimed that only the Daughter body has been recovered yet.

Hospital in Chillas.

 Flood water blocked the Karakurum Highway and overwhelmed large lanes of cultivated lands and roads.

 Water from rivers and streams blocked the link roads of people living remote areas of Gilgit Baltistan. The traffic suspended between Gilgit and the rest of the country.

 Flood slide damaged the crops and grains in the valley and and submergence of numerous canals  caused destruction of large number of trees and plants and also demolition of more than eight houses in the area.

 however, according to the high authorities that tend had been set up in the downstream areas of GB and food and other facilities had freighted to those areas.
,But the people of the affected areas have had compliant for not providing any aid.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of GB  has taken consideration of the whole situation and also the local administration is in contact with the people living in troublesome and concerned to launch rescue and relief work.
